MADE: In America is the Nation's leading non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the American identity to advance enterprise and entrepreneurship in the United States.
Since 2008, MADE: In America has been a leader in developing initiatives and building coalitions that are laying the foundations for the next wave of America's global leadership in business and commerce.
Together with the Nation's leading universities, professional/trade organizations, cultural institutions, and subject matter experts from both the public and private sectors, MADE: identifies issues entrepreneurs and makers struggle with and implements dynamic coalitions and programming to help them thrive.
Signature programs include the All American House -- a showcase of the best in American home products and design; The American Treasures Culinary Experiences -- celebrating the Nation's best farmers, foragers, and craft producers through the eyes and tastes of top U.S. chefs, bartenders, and sommeliers; and the Art of Living initiative which encompasses cross-industry student design competitions.
Starting in 2018, MADE: In America will launch two new programs: Design For America -- a materials design initiative that identifies and showcases the next generation of designers, challenged to create a uniquely American design aesthetic; and Tell Your American story -- a platform designed to assist existing U.S. companies in embracing and showcasing their unique success stories.

Paula Hankins was the Director at Carroll Mansion over the two plus years we jointly developed the All American House at Carroll Mansion. On top of being a highly knowledgeable historic house expert, she is an incredible administrator, educator and strategic thinker. It takes and incredible amount of vision to work with us on an All American House, and without her guidance and hard work, these programs could never happen.

Sarah Klein is a digital branding expert with experience spanning the technology, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors. Her passion is helping entrepreneurs and established businesses find their voice. With a strong background in the arts and a business degree from Johns Hopkins, her specialty is bridging the gap between business strategy and the brand experience; creating clean, cohesive brands that stand out and build memories.

Yoshiko Monterio has been a well respected member of the interior design industry for 19 years. With her vast knowledge of products and resources from around the world she delivers exceptional customer service to clientele. A seasoned showroom manager in the DC, MD, and VA area, Yoshiko is originally from Tokyo, Japan and holds a BA in Studio Art from Williams College in MA, and an AAS in textile design from the Fashion Institute of New York.
